At the Healthpraxis, we enforce and follow all public health care regulations while acting in the best interests of the public and patients served here.
All routine sessions have been suspended and we will only provide essential and emergency care.
Furthermore all appointments must be scheduled ahead of time and a full risk evaluation must be completed beforehand. We are not taking this situation lightly and wish you all the very best in your health.
The Healthpraxis: Essential Health Care Service, and as always, your health is paramount. As a primary portal, we have been trained to provide all three levels of health promotion and health care prevention interventions, including:
· Primary healthcare that assists you before problems begin.
· Secondary prevention health care that can lead you to early evaluation and prompt management of disease, illness, or injury to help abate more severe problems developing.
· Tertiary prevention care aimed at aiding your recovery.
In addition to these essential aspects of health care, we provide care for the neuromusculoskeletal ramifications from structural spinal shifts that cause nervous system stress, which impacts the whole health and vitality of the individual.
We embrace patient autonomy where health care decisions are made through an open, patient-centred and evidence-informed process. Health care decisions should be made based on evidence, consistent with the patient’s values and with the help of a health care provider that honours their wishes. This is an informed and consensual process that everyone is entitled to in regards to their health.

Follow NHS England Advice
You are advised to follow the advice available via NHS England (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/). Please do not visit the clinic if you have a high temperature or a new, persistent cough. Choose to stay home for at least 7 days and contact the clinic to rearrange your appointment. Likewise, if you have been in close contact or live with someone experiencing these symptoms, please self-isolate for 14 days and contact the clinic to rearrange your appointment. NHS, Public Health England and Government advice is changing, but the above was current as of 23rd March 2020 when this post was written.
Clinic Etiquette for your health
To ensure we all play our part in avoiding the spread of coronavirus, please exercise good hand and respiratory hygiene.
· Do not visit the clinic if you are experiencing coronavirus symptoms, or have been in contact with someone that is.
· Please do not bring your mobile phone to the clinic, handbags or any other nonessential items.
Hygiene is of the utmost importance. We wash our hands between patients and use a disinfectant spray to clean the bench and any equipment used between patients. A full risk assessment has been carried out and actions steps implemented and the risk assessment will be updated regularly.
